An accomplishment without achievement: today I was made FreeCell Grand Master by Microsoft’s Solitaire Collection. This is a result of winning 1,237 games at Expert Level while attempting 1,238. The only one lost was an abandoned game, mid-play. I haven't lost a game in many thousands of the games I have played over the past few years. If this seems like a lot of games played, it represents only a fraction of those I have played at all levels and with the Microsoft edition and several other publisher versions. Oh, I freely admit that I am addicted to this game and its brethren: Solitaire, Spider Solitaire, Pyramid, and TriPeaks.
Think of the time I have successfully wasted playing a form of solitaire - time that could have been used to improve the human condition. Oh, the humanity!

I will not accept your pity, nor your inappropriate and misdirected admiration for this useless undertaking. If my foot were nailed to the floor, I would continue to walk around in circles, but that does not get me anywhere other than where I was already. I only post this note to encourage those poor miscreants to abandon their pointless quest.
